Flexible leather binding sewn in a variation of longstitch style with waxed linen thread. Covered with chocolate brown, blind tooled fine goatskin. The cover flap is finished with a sewn-on lighter brown leather plate that features a Labrarodite cabochon. The flap can be secured to the natural smoky shell button with two loops of braided cord. Four matte finish glass beads decorate these cords. Approx. 160 pages of recycled paper inside with foreleaves of pale turquoise parchment paper, matching the stone.

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral originating from the Labrador peninsula. They are often pale and milky, sometimes almost colourless but with flashes of bright iridescent blues and greens.
