Groups are something of a problem for me. It’s a good way to meet people, to learn about photography, and get more exposure for one’s own work. On the other hand, I’m solitary by nature, and even though I can understand why, I don’t really want “to comment three pictures, and post one”, distribute childish “stars”, “super photo” logos, or “one word comments”. I feel most happy among my few “contacts”, and even those I can not always give what I owe them.
If people ask me to post pictures to their group, I usually do so: it means I have to become a member of that group, but it doesn’t mean much.
I think I can relate best to groups concentrating on a subject I’m fond of, such as “dachshunds”, “cemeteries”, or “Icking”. So the least you can do is create an “Oswestry” group (before someone else does it!). :-)
It feels great to be an administrator, even if you only have to administer yourself... ;-)
PS: the best reason for getting a pro account is IMO the possibility of backing up pictures in the original size and resolution.
he's definitely NO Rob Surreal (still WHAT A PISS NAME) but he seems suspicious of everyone...he didn't believe Sascha and I over on Sascha's stream that he is INDEED my son! ;-PPPPPPPP
