Sunflower and Honey Bee - View Large.

We were driving from Wolf Laurel, NC to Asheville when I saw this gorgeous, HUGE bed of sun flowers which the DOT had planted along the highway. One of the many reasons why I love NC is the fact that their DOT adorns their highways with gorgeous annual plantings. I asked my husband to stop the car, I jumped out with my camera, and started shooting. And, I got a bee ... {:o)!!!
