WAS ist DAS? | What's that? .... gelöst | "trächtige" Elefantenkuh
Elefant im Elefant, ca. 8cm hoch.
Der kleine Elefant wird durch die Öffnungen "aus dem Vollen" geschnitzt. Es gab auch eine größere Holzschnitzerei, bestehend aus insgesamt 4 Elefanten, die 3 kleineren jeweils in den größeren enthalten.

Da würde man es sicher übersehen. Na gut, es gibt natürlich öffentliche Gebäude in denen man es hinstellen könnte. Aber .... wie geschrieben {;o).
Außerdem möchte ich dieses Erinnerungsstück sichtbar in meiner Nähe haben.

Funktion?
Aufgrund der handwerklich notwendigen Fertigkeit beim Herstellen dieser Skulptur ist sie zumindest beeindruckend, die Original"modelle", die hier als Vorlage dienten ... auch. Da würde das "Kleine" bis zu 100kg wiegen.
