HWW - Festungsmauer (4 PiPs)
Blick über die Weser zur Fischerstadt in Minden. Am Weserufer hatten sich die Fischer angesiedelt. Die Festungsmauer ist von 1830. Heute dient die Mauer zum Schutz vor Hochwasser.
Direkt am Ufer führt der 500 km lange Weserradweg vorbei, einer der beliebtesten Radfernwege Deutschlands.
Das erste PiP zeigt ein Panorama der Fischerstadt. Die anderen PiPs zeigen Details hinter der Mauer.

A beautiful view across the river............the light is gorgeous. I really like that attractive architecture, especially the half-timbered buildings. The cyclists look great and also give us a good sense of scale.

I've seen most of the PiPs before.........but I particularly like the third one. The detail in the decaying woodwork is excellent and I love the rust.
