Marktplatz Hann. Münden

Der Marktplatz von Hann. Münden bei glühender Hitze von 38° C (100,4 ° F) im Schatten. Auf dem Platz und in den Straßen waren kaum Leute unterwegs. Aber abends war hier der Bär los. Ein Großteil des Platzes dient dann der Gastronomie. Bier und andere kühle Getränke flossen in Strömen.

Links sehen wir das Rathaus von 1605 im Stil der Weserrenaissance (2 PiPs). Hann. Münden hat ca. 700 Fachwerkhäuser, die zum großen Teil in sehr gutem Zustand sind.

Such amazingly beautiful architecture...............and the colours and detail are wonderful.

At those temperatures I'm not surprised no one is around............which was very convenient for taking these shots!
