Vulkan Teneguía
Der Vulkan Teneguía ist als letzter Vulkan der Kanarischen Inseln im Jahr 1971 ausgebrochen. Zwei Menschen starben durch CO²-Erstickung. Bei der Eruption wurden 12 Millionen Kubikmeter Lava ausgestoßen und es entstanden 29 ha neues Land. Der 439 m hohe Gipfel ist ein beliebtes Wanderziel.

A nicely composed and well taken series Wilhelm.........and a good example of the power of these volcanoes! I wouldn't have liked to be around when it erupted.

This is fave of the trio...........I love the little shrub in the foreground and the tiny figures up of the rim!
