Vulkan Montaña Reventada
Wir haben den Vulkan Botijo halb umrundet und schauen direkt in den Nachbarvulkan Montaña Reventada (Krater Innenmaß 160 m). Dieser Vulkan ist 1492 ausgebrochen. Dies wurde dokumentiert durch Christoph Kolumbus, der auf seiner ersten Reise nach Amerika eigentlich auf Teneriffa Proviant aufnehmen wollte. Aus Sicherheitsgründen hat er dann die Nachbarinsel La Gomera angesteuert.
