clearing snow from the rooves

The snow gets so heavy it can destroy the roof, so this has to be done regularly, also from home rooves. There were two men on the roof with shovels, and a bloke down the bottom with a whistle to let them know when people were walking past so they knew when to stop. (The bloke with the whistle seems to be the Swedish equivalent of our man leaning on a shovel holding a stop sign)
