As a lifelong South Derbyshire resident, I often find myself traveling the UK to seek out frequently photographed iconic landscapes - yet in this place I call home, lies a treasure trove of natural wonders, begging for exploration and admiration. Familiarity has a funny way of making you forget how special things really are.

This project is more than just an artistic pursuit for me. It's a journey of reconnection with my roots, a challenge to look at the familiar with fresh eyes.
