A great idea and well executed Ulrich. I love the lighting and background and the vignette is just perfect. The detail in the shells is superb.

It might just be a trick of the light, but is there a trace of an embryo in the bottom eggshell?

I would say this is a cracking shot, but that would be childish :-))

No, this not the trace of an embryo. It’s a rest of protein which is left in the eggshell. Without the light on it I didn’t see it.
