Die Reichenau ist die größte Insel im Bodensee. Ihre zahlreichen Kirchen und das Benediktinerkloster gehören zum UNESCO-Welkulturerbe. Genau so wichtig ist heute der ausgedehnte Gemüseanbau; überall auf der Insel, auf der ca 3000 Menschen leben, findet man ausgedehnte Felder und Gewächshäuser.
