You have to be keen to want to take 50 images of post-boxes Ulrich, especially when most of them are of the same kind and colour from that one country. But I can see why people would take that road for a project as we all have our separate hobbies and goals. I would be tempted to something like this if I was, say to collect 50 different kind of post-boxes from different countries around the world. ~ Anyway, I presume like in our country at the moment, your postal service is out-of-sorts with the lack of times on here. Nice One!

In this digital world mail boxes are a dying out species. My project is a little hommage for times in which writing per hand was usual. Times when fastness didn’t have the absolute priority and communication between people and was more personal. If you look in my album you‘ll see that I tried to capture different ones. Most of them I found are different in nuances. But you‘re right: they are all from only three countries; the countries I visited the last years. And most of them are yellow; the usual color of Mail Boxes in France, Spain and Germany.

Der Rost macht ihn zum Unikat ;-)
