Beautiful landscape and photograph !
Ulrich, I was born in Tarn but some of my maternal ancestors were born in Hérault. In the past I spent several Summer holidays there in small villages near Olargues (can't remember their names now ...).

We bought very old house in the center of this little village nearby the green clocktower 45 years ago. It has been decayed when we bought it. Over the years it became a little bit more comfortable inside. but it still has the old walls and the old roof. I like this region of France very much and visited Olargues several times. It's really a beautiful village !

I see that you've been a lover of France for a very long time, Ulrich ! (:o))
LOVE this kind of old houses so much also (I am living in a rather old one at the moment but in the North of France where the houses style is completely different. My actual house is called "une Flamande".
In the meantime I asked my husband the names of the two villages where we have spent four Summer holidays in the 70's. Two of them were in a small hotel in Mons-la-Trivalle (Chez Riri et Mimi" (if I well remember) not far away from les Gorges d'Héric where I am very sure you have been too), and the two other ones were in a rented house in Vieussan, just near the river Orb. At that time, we still could bath in it. No too sure now...
Well, it was the young and beautiful time, Ulrich...

Lovely and picturesque village, and a charming panoramic view.
Your attachment to these beautiful French regions is reflected in such beautiful captures, Ulrich. We understand why you speak a little Français the way you do! ;-)
