HFF everybody ! Wish you a nice Friday and a good weekend ! Summer will come back for two days tells the weather forecast ! - Das Bild wurde in den Traboules von Lyon aufgenommen. Das sind versteckte Gänge und Passagen durch Hausflure, Treppenhäuser und Innenhöfe, die es möglich machen, lange Wege zurückzulegen ohne Straßen zu benutzen. Ursprünglich würden sie von den Seidenwebern genutzt, um die Transporte zwischen den Manufakturen und den Händlern abzukürzen. Während der deutschen Besetzung von Lyon im Zweiten Weltkrieg spielten sie eine wichtige Rolle als Verstecke und Fluchtwege für die Résistance. Heute werden einige von ihnen als Touristenattraktion gern bei Stadtführungen gezeigt.

Interessantes Foto, Lyon ist bekannt für seine Traboules (Saint Etienne z.B auch). Die in Lyon werden übrigens auch "Les Rémoulades" genannt... Warum, weiss ich leider nicht. HFF Ulrich.

Von diesen "Traboules" habe ich noch nie gehört, Ulrich, allerdings kenne ich Lyon auch nur von der Durchreise. Sehr interessant, auch deine Erläuterungen dazu.

Ging mir genauso. Auf dem Weg nach Süden immer durchgefahren. Und immer Stau. Wir machen inzwischen ein bis zwei Stationen, um mehr von Frankreich kennenzulernen. Auch der Weg gehört zum Ziel. Dieses Mal war Lyon dran. Eine tolle Stadt; glaubt man garnicht, wenn man sich da durchquälen muss. Absolut sehenswert; auch wegen der Altstadt; und einen zweiten Besuch wert.

Daraus wird bei uns leider nichts mehr, Ulrich, da wir keine weiten Reisen mehr machen. Alles hat eben seine Zeit... Wir sind immer mit dem Wohnmobil gereist, und da haben wir solche Städte wie Lyon gemieden. Ansonsten haben wir fast alle französischen Regionen bereist. Frankreich ist ein wundervolles Land. "Der Weg ist das Ziel"... mit dem Wohnmobil haben wir das immer praktiziert, obwohl es auch immer ein fernes Ziel gab.
