Die etwas Älteren unter uns werden sich an diese Kästen noch erinnern...
Man hat dort (meist) handgeschriebene Briefe eingeworfen, (bei Regen, Schnee, Sonne, Hitze und Wind und Sturm) die die Deutsche Post dann zum Empfänger transportiert hat...
