Mt. Sibayak, Sumatra - The Caldera


It took us three hours to climb up to the volcano; it was noisy and the air smelt of sulfur. But it was worth the effort and we had very impressive experiences up there. Better you see it large !

(effectivement, nous regardons aujourd'hui les "vieilles" photos comme les vestiges d'une époque qui nous semble de plus en plus révolue... Serons-nous les derniers témoins de ces temps heureux où la liberté de déplacement et de rencontres, de découverte et d'enrichissement culturel nous paraissait naturelle ? Je ne peux pas me résoudre à le croire ...)
