Whichever way the wind blows

Tierra del Fuego. Sentinel to force and direction of the wind!
Taken a while ago, but I have always liked it!
Have a good week. Those in the Northern Hemisphere, keep warm and dry. Those at my end of the world..stay cool and dry!

Bonne et agréable semaine a venir.
Wish you a peaceful week!
Love it.
Wind runners are trees and shrubs whose growth form is determined by the wind blowing predominantly from one direction. In East Friesland, wind escapers are known in Low German as windloopers, i.e. "wind runners". Wind runners with particularly pronounced plume growth are called "wind harps" in some places, as their shape is vaguely reminiscent of a tilted harp. Especially in winter, when deciduous trees have bare branches, they can look like the strings of an aeolian harp.
Wünsche noch einen schönen Nachmittag, liebe Grüße Güni :))
I saw something similar, shaped by the wind, on the island of La Palma.

Very well composed and taken!
I like this picture very much!
It is a very different and exciting composition, but there must be a fence hiding somewhere!
Fantastic colours too
Best Wishes, HFF,, and stay safe!!
