In the wild...no crop....au jungle.

Adult male Proboscis Monkey...Nasalis larvatus ......Bako National Park. Sarawak (Borneo). These are only found on Borneo, and are highly endangered. They weigh up to 22 kg and are gentle leaf eaters. The males have a large pendulous nose and huge belly. The local Malays used to call them "Monyet Belanda " or "Dutch Monkey" as they felt that the large noses and round bellies reminded them of the Dutchmen they had seen!
