Bolivian Altiplano. The highest navigable lake in the world. Thor Heydahl came to this village - Huatajata- and used the skills of a local family to build his boats, using traditional techniques and materials.

Bisous, my dear....yes...soft colours....usually at this altitude the light is harsher. This day was gentler....I wish you had been there too..
