Old country buildings
I'm increasingly fascinated by the old buildings I see as I travel around Australia. Some are fine civic buildings in country towns and very much still in use. Others are the many churches and petrol stations, many now disused. All, I feel, are in their own way worthy of recording.

Rail weigh station
This was the railway loader for the captains Flat mine, where ore concentrate was dropped from hoppers into railway wagons, then weighed with scales in the lower hut. The image now has some historic value, as the loader was demolished in 2010.
