Mother-of Millions

Mother-of Millions
Mother of Millions is the common name for several related plants and hybrids, native to Africa and Madagascar. Introduced as a garden plant, it is now a serious weed in parts of Australia. It spreads by producing many plantlets (see notes) and is drought resistant. Worst of all, the plant and flowers are toxic to livestock.

Nevertheless despite their reputation, excellent capture, colors and patterns! Stay well!

Many introduced non-indigenous species become a nuisance, George. This one is pretty though. We have 'inherited' grey squirrels, Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam etc. All difficult to eradicate.
