Lovely captures of this garden friend, George. I find its snake-like coat and muzzle very interesting. I wonder if it tries to pass itself off as a snake to dissuade predators. Australia has always been one of the places I wanted to visit and I confess the main source of my fascination for the country lies in its fauna. Perhaps I'll get my wish before I'm too old ...

Thank you, Annalia. I don't believe it could successfully pretend to be a snake, so they mainly seem to try blending in with the background, hiding under logs, etc. Hopefully, when this Covid thing settles a bit, travel may become feasible again.
