The missing front leg doesn't detract from the adorableness
of this extremely efficient hunter. :)
However, their size of about one centimeter is also amazing.
In the region where I live, I find only much smaller specimens of this genus.

Very beautiful capture of this tiny spider caught against a contrasting background, George. Even lame in one leg, I am sure it is a fierce little hunter!

I'm definitely not keen on spiders, but this one is a really unusual colour, so I might make allowances! ;-))

A super shot..........I've been trying to get a decent shot of one of these for years without much success, so I'm not jealous at all>>!!

( If a spider is unfortunate enough to lose a leg, then provided it still has at least one more moult left in its life cycle it's able to grow a new leg. I don't know how many moults a small spider like this would have though ).

Thanks for your comment and link, Karen. As far as I can tell, it has only six eyes, 4 across the front and one to each side further back. The markings are a bit deceptive. I've enlarged and cropped a shot so the head is clearer.
