Good and not-so-good news

Our rain gauge this morning, making it a very Happy Fence Friday indeed. A major weather event is bringing copious rain to eastern Australia and should extinguish the fires here, though unfortunately it also is bringing flooding to some areas. That's Australia!

Unfortunately, my other news is that Pauline has developed medical complications which have hospitalised her for the present. I'm afraid my involvement on ipernity again will be limited for some time.

With those rather mixed items, HFF and best wishes for the weekend, everyone.

Oh dear. George...I'm so sorry to learn of Pauline's complications...I hope that she stabilizes right away and gets back to herself soon. I will be worried and thinking of you both as the days pass.

Hi George, Hope Pauline is able to get back on deck soon,it's not much fun in hospital.
I have had at least 150mm in the last week and buckets full are predicted over the next few days.
