The Geevor Tin Mine in Cornwall is now closed, but the site and buildings are maintained by an enthusiastic local group and are open for visitors. HFF and have a great weekend, everyone.

The tin mines are a familiar feature on the beautiful Cornish landscape George but I have never visited one. It must have been interesting. A lovely shot with lovely blue skies and view of the sea. HFF and have a good weekend

A rather belated HFF, George.
Superb views of Cornwall's heritage. Just look at the weather! I bet you din't expect that in the UK in February. ;-)

Thank you, Carol, it was indeed all we'd hoped, with the weather as a bonus. I'd recommend adding a visit to your 'future trips' list. :-) Hope your week is going well.

A fine record of this place George. I don't believe I have been to this one? These tin mines can look pretty spectacular in the right moody lighting. Looks like you got good weather for your touring though - not the usual here for Feb me thinks.

Cheers, Herb
