Icon for groups XXX+ visits

Dear Laura,

I have looked at the process again from the position of a normal ipernity member who actually just wants to have a good time here with friends. People don't want to read much and don't want to engage in much either. That's why I would shorten the text considerably. See the suggestion below.

In this version, you would only have to enter two data instead of the previous 19. In addition, you would not have to name a substitute admin, but could take care of the matter yourself as moderator within a reasonable period of time. I wouldn't set a specific deadline either. After all, the informed member can leave both the former and the new group at any time.

All of this would be a much more streamlined approach without anyone being left out.

Dear ipernity member,

the group [name, URL] has not been properly maintained for some time because it has been abandoned by its administrator. In order to preserve the content and put it back under good care, it is to be merged into the thematically similar group [name, URL].

The merger will take place shortly. You will automatically become a member of the remaining group. All your content will be transferred from the former group to the remaining one. The old group will be erased afterwards. You do not have to do anything.

If you do not agree with the transfer, you can leave this group at any time. However, we hope that you will like the new group as much as the previous one.
