Beautiful Wild Soapweed (Saponaria officinalis) A01-03


I have found these pretty flowering plants in several locations here, they are always growing in huge patches in sandy soil near the sea. This is just one of many areas on Strand Bakke showing how they grow, the soil here is sand at the top of our coastal hillside.
This particular area is where I found my Sand Lizard yesterday, amd at the same time last year.
