church by w.bassett smith and r.p. day 1896-7 . working nearby, I was drawn to look at the tower, and found the church open and preparing for a meal, dishes of the food of all nations to be brought by all who came. the people running the church were genuine in their welcome, and do really useful work helping newcomers to england, everything from food banks to teaching english.
