methwold old vicarage, norfolk (1)

great brickwork on this early to mid c16 gable end, especially the patterns on the chimney flue, more often seen above roof level. the four upper lights can only just have fallen within the roof space, and I suspect that they must have been crossed by the structural timbers of the older roof.
