lincoln cathedral

the c13 bay to the north of the west front now contains the mid c12 sculpture from the west front, but seems to be kept behind bolted gates. the doorway below the sculpture now leads into a space that was probably a garderobe shute, as this was the external wall of the original c11 westwork.
