late c13 effigy of a civilian in the south transept, with two figures by his head, probably angels. he wears a gown with a hood. pevsner doubted that he was in situ in the canopy, but the stones all seem of a piece. he looks a bit short, but it looks like the effigy and base are carved as one, and the base runs under the canopy. mind you, butterfield rebuilt this whole wall, so anything is possible
