great bedwyn masons' yard

lloyds masons' yard in gt. bedwyn shut some time ago, was a lapidary museum for some time, then closed, but with the collection on show around the post office in the shop. the yard had a fountain which worked when you pushed the button, and all sorts of sculpture in good and bad taste from the last few centuries, there was even a big stone airoplane. now all that is left on show are those gravestones left on the facade, an empty yard, and rows of iron hooks to show where stuff once hung.
