stoke newington old church

a sweet little church retained when the massive scott church went up over the road, and acting as a foil to it still. west tower and south aisle with its porch and vestry were added in 1563 to the older nave: barry added the spire in 1828 when he gothicised the c18 clerestory and north aisle, extending the church on that side.
