st.nicholas, great wilbraham church

south side of the cruciform church. built in norman times, expanded with transepts in the early c13, the remains of the central tower can be seen sticking proud of the roof at the crossing. some c13 lancets survive, many have been replaced with perp. windows, and the west tower is perp. too.
