Nothing revolutionary new =D Sort of basic use of textures. However, I combined the texture AND the "side-frames" I have started to use.

The texture is made with GIMP "fog": docs.gimp.org/en/python-fu-foggify.html

For choosing the color of fog, I either follow my ex-wife's advice, and pick the color from some point on the image, or just trust my intuition. On this photo I trusted the intuition =D

To make the "fog texture" layer to overlap nicely, I think I used 'Lighten only' -layer mode.

And finally of course some curves tool to make details brighter and to add some contrast.
