Big Sheep Wool Gallery, Tirau
Tīrau is a small town in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand, 50 kilometres southeast of Hamilton. In the Māori language, "Tīrau" means "place of many cabbage trees." The town is famous for its corrugated iron trio of giant metal ewe, ram and sheepdog.Tirau is famous for its corrugated iron sculptures and the lovely shopping.

In Tirau School grounds
Made of corrugated iron. There is a place near Tirau which specializes in Corrugated iron sculptures of all kinds, Many of the shops and businesses use them.

Tirau Businesses.
Tirau is a small town that has a lot of tourist trade. The animals and car are made from corrugated iron and are made in a small workshop a few kms north of the town.

Main Street Of Tirau.
Tirau is a small town in the Waikato region of the North Island of New Zealand, 50 kilometres southeast of Hamilton. The town has a population of 690. Tirau is Maori for "place of many cabbage trees." The town is now a well known tourist stop-off, and is characterised by many local art works in the town forged out of discarded corrugated iron.
