Our Lilac . We had two days of extra strong wind and it broke some branches and wrecked the blossoms. A large tree came down in the center of town and landed on a cafe.

Above Mosgiel from the road to a friend's farm. Mosgiel is an urban satellite of Dunedin in Otago, New Zealand, fifteen kilometres west of the city's centre. Mosgiel has a population of approximately 6700 . Mosgiel is part of Dunedin, but separated from the city by hills. It takes its name from Mossgiel in Ayrshire, the farm of poet Robbie Burns, who was the uncle of one of Dunedin’s founders.

I love these in the grass! I regret their loss every time our lawn is mowed.
