Saturday Self Challenge: Take a photo that represents your "New Year's Resolution".
I took this picture of our electric meter on the first day of the year and my resolution is to use less power in 2019 in order to reduce my carbon footprint.
(I know the photo is technically not very good, but I had to take it with my smartphone - without flashlight to avoid reflections - in a hard to access corner of the basement of our apartment building built around the year 1250 AD)

Yes, a very worthwhile resolution. I hate paying too much for electricity and my wife gets a bit cross when I go around the house turning everything off :-)

Das ist ein toller Vorsatz! Beim Stromsparen ist immer die Frage, ob sich ein vorzeitiger Austausch von Geräten wirklich lohnt... Mein Schwager dreht immer alle Sicherungen raus, wenn er aus dem Haus geht, aber ob das den Sicherungen so gut tut?
