Ohne dieses Foto hätte ich nicht erfahren, dass der Willy anfangs gar nicht Willy Brandt hieß.

Ja, eine bewegte und bewegende Zeit!
Aus seiner Herkuft wurde noch zu Wahlkampfzeiten mit Rainer Candidus Barzel (in den 1970ern) versucht ihm am Zeug zu flicken. Er wurde als "unehelich" (sowas gab es damals tatsächlich noch!) verhöhnt und natürlich als "vaterlandsloser Geselle"...

Es gibt wohl, geschichtlich gesehen, nicht viele Deutsche, die sowohl im hohen Norden (Skandinavien) als auch im Süden (Afrika, Nord-Süd-Kommission) so großes Ansehen geniessen.
