Israeli Defense Forces Pride Month photo

The Israeli Defense Forces on their official Facebook page say they're real soldiers. It's up to you whether to believe them, but I see no need to doubt it. Gay men can walk around like that in a lot of places, not just Israel. You can do it in the UK, US, Canada, most of Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, the list is long. The point of this photo is that these are active military personnel holding hands and this is an official presentation of the military forces.
