Michael Hardenburger Memorial Interpretive Trail

Sincere thanks to the friends and family of Michael. Their generous gifts in memory of his great interest and love for California's natural resources, have helped create a better understanding of this wetland and its value to waterfowl and other wildlife.

The wetland enhancement project visible from the trail is a cooperative effort which involved private donors, Ducks Unlimited, Inc., Caltrans, and Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge.
