Super big bloom this. Just compare it to the leaves of the geranium. About 10 inches across. Also extremely fragrant, filled the house. But, also, very very poisonous, so wash your hands after handling. Very similar to the Brugmansia species.

I grow Moonflowers outside here.. they have been amazing this year. The Poylphemus Moths and the bees love them One vine had over 50 flowers one night. Love the fragrance.. and honestly.. I never worry too much re the poison...I take the same precautions with them as with any stuff outside.

It was used extensively in the rituals of many of the tribes of the SW here.

I love the seed pods.. I call them spaceballs !
