What I play goes generally by the name of bluegrass, but really it's more properly called "old-time," a style that precedes bluegrass. Here's a link to a video of the band I play with--not a recent video, but still representative of what I mean by "old-time": www.youtube.com/watch?v=sD1JD9t2Yno
