My dad (R) and his sibs, Doris (c), and Richard (L). Submitted to the VPTP as popular photo not previously seen here. This is popular because it is posted in Deborah's Vintage Stairstep Photos group. I like it especially because I can see some similar faces among my grandchildren. Another interesting note is that my aunt is wearing shoes similar to those worn by a girl in Deborah's submission a few weeks back: www.ipernity.com/doc/289709/49496556/in/group/314223

Submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for the theme, " BIKES OR TRIKES." He's obviously too large for the trike and would jam his knees on the handle bars if he peddled. Probably a convenient prop for the photographer and I can only imagine my uncle's embarrassment.

My dad, always a clotheshorse, is the jauntily attired lad in the cap with his mother behind him. Based on the gentlemen with their lapel pins, this must have been part of some company or club event. These were pleasant days for the family just before the Great Depression hit and took the family business. Submitted for the SHIP OUT! theme in the VPTP.
