Secret Lives of the Grown Ups ('40s,'50s and '60s)
I don't remember exactly what triggered it - it may have been a photo or unexpectedly catching them in an embrace - I'm not sure, but the first time I realized that my parents were something more than just my parents was a startling event. Betty Serves the Black-Eyed Peas On New Year's Eve, 1967
A New Year's tradition said to ensure good luck in the coming year. NYE, '67. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but you gotta have hope. Submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for the theme, HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS - Any kind of end-of-year holiday gathering, celebration, or decoration. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and a Joy-filled New Year to all.

My favorite photo of them. They look like they're having such fun.
