Lotus blossom

Scanned Kodachrome slide photo taken in 1977 at the garden of the Flagler Museum in Florida and submitted to the Vintage Photos Theme Park for the theme, PICK A PARTICULAR FORMAT. I used to take a lot of slides of flowers, which irritated my young, frugal, bride because she thought we would never look at them and film could better be used to capture scenes and people which we would more greatly enjoy viewing later. Taking multiple photos of the same flower...OH BOY! Still, I took my flower photos but I made sure to snap a bunch at things that she was interested in and eventually my love withheld comment when I aimed the camera at a posey and let exasperated expression communicate her sentiment. The interesting thing is that I remember where I took almost all of the flower photos, which brings back memory of the place. Happily, I still have the flowers and the wife.
Smiley Derleth, Deborah Lundbech, Alan Mays, Nouchetdu38 have particularly liked this photo
