We're not dead yet!

Submitted to the VPTP for PEOPLE EXCHANGING "A LOOK" THAT THE PHOTOGRAPHER HAS CAPTURED PERFECTLY theme week. I stumbled on this old, damaged, Polaroid while searching for an appropriate theme photo this week. This is my paternal grandmother at the breakfast table with an old family friend with whom she was reunited after several years during a week-end gathering at my parents' home. The look, coupled with the stolen intimacy of his hand barely touching her arm I think tells a tale of great affection between them.
