Happy Orange Water Fence Friday !

Dank dem raffinierten "Beaver" Schlauchsystem konnten grössere Überschwemmungen verhindert werden.
Die Schläuche werden verlegt, mit Luft gefüllt, in die richtige Position gebracht und anschliessend mit Wasser voll gepumpt. Mit diesem System können viel schneller grosse Längen gesichert werden, als mit den konventionellen Sandsäcken.
Und wer hat's erfunden? ;-))

Das Produkt ist eigentlich schon älter. Es existiert mindestens schon seit 13 Jahren.

Traktor 49

Es ist so, die Berner sind bekanntlich langsam. Deshalb geht es viel zu lange beim Verteilen von Sandsäcken. Also musste eine Lösung her - Schlauchdamm!

BK, gibts schon über 10 Jahre und funktioniert! :-) Nein, zusätzlicher Ballast ist nicht nötig
Die beiden Schläuche sind miteinander gekoppelt, und bei Bedarf kann noch ein dritter Schlauch darauf gelegt werden.

Steve, we had been very lucky. So, no injured or dead people, like in Germany. In addition, we took various measures after the last flood in 2005. This has now proven its worth.

Dimas, yes, this system only works up to a certain water level. You can put a third tube on top of the other two, but the height is limited.

Nein, was da im Ahrtal passiert ist, hätte mit diesen Schläuchen nicht aufgehalten werden können.
Wir haben in Bern nach dem letzten Hochwasser 2005 zwar griffige Massnahmen getroffen. Aber mit dieser Menge Wasser hat niemand geechnet, also musste man mit dem Beaver System das zusätzliche Wasser in den Griff bekommen.

Scheint zu funktionieren, so gemütlich, wie die 2 noch in dem Lokal sitzen ;-) Nach fast 40 Hochwasser-Berufsjahren bin ich irgendwie froh, nicht mehr viel damit zu tun zu haben.
