My Woods and Creeks
Folder: About Me
I live on a hillside on 28 acres of wooded land that is bordered by two creeks. This set contains photos of the land, its woods, and creeks; except for views from my deck which are in their own set, Views from my Deck (https://www.test.ipernity.com/doc/picture_taker/album/662521).

Occasionally, the creeks that border my property flood. In 2004, they flooded twice. Once in September and then again in November as a result of heavy rains that were the aftermath of hurricaines. Etowah County, Alabama

Snow in Alabama
|
|
I have lived in the Gadsden area of Alabama since the summer of 2004. This snow, which fell yesterday, 2/12/10, is the most that has fallen here since then. Most of it will probably be gone by the end of the day. (DSC07300)
Alabama - Christmas 2010

|
I have lived in northeast. Alabama for 6 1/2 years and except for one or two dustings have not had any significant snow until this winter. This snow, on Christmas day, which lasted for several days, made quite a winter wonderland - a rarity here. Etowah County, Alabama
